With the Sun in humanitarian Aquarius, the Moon in practical Taurus, and a passionate Leo rising, I’ve always felt a deep calling to help others find clarity and inspiration. But my journey didn’t start in the healing arts—it began in corporate accounting.
Despite the stability of my career, a deeper truth kept nudging me: life is too short not to love the one you’re living. That whisper became louder over time, guiding me toward holistic healing and intuitive work. Eventually, I answered the call.
A Series of Signs
Looking back, I can see how intuition was always leading me—even before I fully understood how to follow it.
In 2005, during a weekend Reiki workshop, I spent the entire time debating what piece of jewelry I wanted to invest in. Several beautiful (and expensive) pieces caught my eye, but I couldn’t decide. As the workshop was ending, I told my friends, “I’ll know it when I see it.”
I walked out of the shop, not with new jewelry, but with a massage table! My friends laughed, joking that it would look great hanging around my neck. They also asked what an accountant planned to do with a massage table—and to be honest, so did I. But it was on sale, and being a practical person, I figured it was a good investment. Little did I know, it would be another five years before I used it professionally as a Reflexologist.
The next year, in 2006, I had my first Reflexology session. The experience was deeply healing, and I intended to have another session. However, due to a family emergency, my appointment was canceled. Reflexology faded from my mind—until about six months later, when the word “reflexology” kept coming into my awareness, refusing to let go.
At first, I thought it was a sign to book another session. But the more I tuned in, the message felt bigger. Finally, I caught myself arguing with my own intuition:
“Become a Reflexologist?! Are you kidding me? I’m an accountant.”
This inner debate continued for months until I finally decided to reconnect with the reflexologist I had originally seen. But when I reached out, I was told she was on disability—and what struck me as unsettling was that no one seemed to know when, or if, she would return.
A few months later, I found myself at a benefit for a reflexologist who had passed away. I didn’t know her personally (or so I thought) but wanted to support the community. To my shock, I realized the event was for the very same woman I had seen for my first session. She had been a Reflexology teacher, and I had intended to study with her.
As I looked at her photo during the event, something profound happened—I suddenly saw myself reflected in her image, as if I, too, were a Reflexologist. In that instant, my long skirt brushed against a candle, and I caught fire—literally. Strangely, I didn’t hear or see the flames at first; I only felt warmth, like standing near a campfire.
Fortunately, I wasn’t hurt, and only a small triangle of my skirt burned before others rushed to put it out.
The next day, I meditated on the experience and heard clearly:“Because you paid attention to how you felt, you were never in danger.”
That message stayed with me, reinforcing the importance of intuitive awareness.
More Signs
In 2007, six weeks before an unexpected layoff from my accounting job, I felt a strong urge to buy a home laptop—something I had never needed before. Until then, all my emails had been sent from my work computer. That purchase turned out to be one of the many small but pivotal steps toward my new path.
Not long after, another sign appeared. While driving to a Reiki class, a song began playing in my head on repeat:
“Freedom comes from not hanging on, you’ve got to let go, let go.”
During class, I suddenly found myself saying out loud, “I’m going to be laid off tomorrow.” I hadn’t consciously planned to say it, but the words came through me as if someone else had spoken them.
The very next day, I was indeed let go—and that song kept playing in my mind.
Stepping Fully into My Calling
That moment of surrender opened the door to a path I now embrace wholeheartedly. Since then, I’ve studied Reflexology, Massage Therapy, Reiki, Tarot, Prayer, Meditation, Astrology, HeartMath® Programs, and most recently, completed a year-long Intuitive Development course.
Each step, challenge, and insight has deepened my faith in this work and strengthened my calling as a healer. Learning to recognize both my gifts and my blocks has been key to my growth, and I love sharing that journey with others. A fellow HeartMath® Certified Mentor once shared that she never says she’s having a bad day—only that she’s in a “growth period.” That shift in perspective has become an essential part of my practice.
Illuminating the Path for Others
Today, I offer intuitive readings, astrology guidance, and Heart Harmonizing (inspired by HeartMath®) tools to help people uncover what may be blocking them from fully embracing the life they desire. My work is designed to bring clarity, reveal new possibilities, and support transformation.
If you’re seeking a deeper understanding of yourself and a fresh perspective on your journey, I’m here to help illuminate the way.
